The missing head for the existing body
The structure of the existing Training Centre proves a disoriented, scalable architecture wherein the function cannot be expressed. The extension will change this and modernize the building in its entirety, without changing the existing building. The new building is located at the western end of the gym, the entrance is on the south, running parallel to the Inn promenade.
The foyer of the annex is transparent and enables the space to be opened up in the direction of the schoolyard. The architectural focus is on the form-giving potential of the cantilevered grandstand construction. It is identified by the aesthetics of sports buildings. The compact structure of the upper floor completes the simple form of the Training Centre, allowing the perception of the building as a whole complex. The premises of the ground floor are designed as colored wooden installations and stand playfully in analogy to the gymnastic equipment.
